Our Philosophy
InsideOut Impact Core Belief
There lies within each person, a capacity to better understand limitations, commit to authentic change and live in fuller realization of purpose, potential and destiny.
CAPACITY
Helping organizations create a climate where individuals respond to a compelling invitation to more fully explore their unused capacity, is what IOI specializes in. According to Marcus Buckingham, two 25 year studies interviewing 80,000 managers in 400 companies revealed that 70% of the U.S. workforce are R.O.A.D. Warriors. The acronym stands for Retired On Active Duty. The underutilized capacity of each worker is the most profit rich resource yet to be experienced. Our unique approach to training and coaching continually mines for extra individual and group capacity.
LIMITATIONS
Honesty admitting our limitations, especially in a group context, can be a scary proposition. It requires top down leadership and more importantly…modeling! According to Jim Collins, author of Built To Last and Good To Great, his two 6 year research studies of the top performing organizations in the world yielded the discovery that each of these organizations had what he calls a level 5 leader. This is a person who has a paradoxical blend of strength and humility. IOI is able to create a climate where it is much easier for individuals and teams to face their key limiting steps, enter into agreement for change and partner with each other toward improvement.
CHANGE
Whether at the individual or corporate level, a commitment to change will often run into resistance and this is very understandable. After all, to agree that we need to change requires us to admit our incompleteness at some level. Someone has said that we are all in favor of change just as long as it is someone else doing the changing. Healthy change management requires careful threat regulation, before, during and after the initial change implementation. IOI works to broker deep trust commitments between all participants in the change process, leading to maximum growth with minimal negative result.
PURPOSE – POTENTIAL – DESTINY
As an employer, it can be very reassuring to see employees finding deep fulfillment in their work. The desire for happiness is the most consistently present, commonly shared human desire. Organizations that can help individuals link their innate skills and passions to the overall organizational mission, while at he same time partner with them in personal development, leading to a ever-defining picture of who they can become, are giants on the corporate landscape! It is the job of IOI to assist in this process, the result being; maturing, innovative, loyal employees!
